Surah At-Tin التين

The Fig · Chapter 95 · 8 verses · Meccan

Translation: Saheeh International

1. وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ

   95:1 By the fig and the olive

2. وَطُورِ سِينِينَ

   95:2 And [by] Mount Sinai

3. وَهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ

   95:3 And [by] this secure city [i.e., Makkah],

4. لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ

   95:4 We have certainly created man in the best of stature;

5. ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَـٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَـٰفِلِينَ

   95:5 Then We return him to the lowest of the low,

6. إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ

   95:6 Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.

7. فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ

   95:7 So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?

8. أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ

   95:8 Is not Allāh the most just of judges?
